Almaguer was born from a simple conviction: the coffee in your cup has a story that begins long before it is roasted — in the mountains, with the people who grow it, and in every decision along the way.
Why Almaguer
Colombia produces some of the most expressive coffees in the world, yet their story rarely reaches the people who buy and drink them. We set out to bring Colombian specialty lots to businesses and roasters abroad, with full transparency about where they come from.
Many origins, one standard
We work with lots from different regions of Colombia. Each one is different — in altitude, variety and process — but all of them go through the same demanding selection, and every lot is presented with its complete details.
Green or roasted
We offer our coffees green, for roasters who want to develop their own profile, and roasted, for businesses that want them ready to serve.
What comes next
This is the beginning of Almaguer. As we grow, we will keep documenting each origin in more detail — farms, producers and processes — so every coffee arrives with its full story.
